Who benefits:
FM radio is among the fastest growing genres of mass media. With a large number of private radio stations coming up across the length and breadth of the country, there is an acute shortage of good radio presenters and radio jockeys. Students aspiring to be part of radio jockeying, programming and production have an excellent opportunity to take up professional assignments in this on-the-rise medium. It also benefits professionals who are already in the field and want to upgrade their skills by getting experience in using the radio effects available in MassCoMedia's radio studio.
Course content:
The course offers excellent grounding in the theoretical and practical aspects of radio production. Intended to be a multilingual course since this medium is always multiethnic, students will be put through an extensive program in Pod casting to highlight production and editing for radio.
The MassCoMedia USP:
The Institute has a professional FM studio set-up for talk shows and radio jockeying. It also has an extensive music library for re-mixing and presenting shows, simulating a radio station environment.
*Three-month evening program available (minus programming and production)
