Class 12 or above (Graduates preferred)
Who benefits:
Students who wish to become TV anchors and reporters. They can familiarize themselves with new production techniques, learn the use of teleprompter. The students are made to write their scripts and rehearse in front of the camera. It's the age of events. Every major event requires comperes. Training would benefit prospective masters of ceremonies at major dos.
Course content:
Students will be taught to face the camera with confidence. They will be made to learn different anchoring techniques. They will also learn the different ways to cover/conduct events and happenings in a variety of environments (political news, disasters, celebrity events, sports, crime, and entertainment). Project work will involve making footage in real situations and conducting mock/real proceedings during an event.
The MassCoMedia USP:
Students will get hands-on experience in making quality commercial footage. They will have access to excellent equipment like Sony PD 170 and D55 cameras. They will use virtual studios to learn the techniques they will be using in media houses while on the job. Students will have the option of buying and using their own cameras. They will get the opportunity to conduct in-house events.
